On March 25th, 1996, Michael Vu Nguyen came into the world. A little cục vàng (golden nugget) in his family's eyes. Stubborn from the start, he exceeded any and all expectations.


Four months and fourteen days later, on August 8th, 1996, Itzel Villalobos was born. Her wide, curious eyes made her mother pause, asking the doctor if everything was alright. She was perfectly fine just taking in the world in her own way.


Two lives, beginning separately, unaware that one day, their paths would cross.


And boy did their paths cross. Their love story started the same way most modern ones do with a swipe right (sorry, mom-Itzel).


1 dog, 2 cats, hundreds of dinner and tea dates, rainy and sunny days, and 6 years later, they are tying the knot.
